Where to Eat in The Acreage

A handful of family places near Orange Boulevard, and plenty of picnic spots.

The Acreage was built for homes and horses, not restaurants, so the choice is small and close together. Nearly everything is in the plazas around the intersection of Seminole Pratt Whitney Road and Orange Boulevard, a few minutes from the library and the community park. For more variety, the new shops in Westlake are just to the south, and Royal Palm Beach and Palm Beach Gardens are about 20 to 30 minutes away.

On trail days, pack a lunch. Riverbend Park and Loxahatchee Groves Park have picnic shelters, and most of the wild lands have no food or water at all.
